4 ozs. brown sugar
4 ozs. sugar
1 cup butter flavored Crisco
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 whole egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 ozs. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix sugars and fat until light & fluffy. Add vanilla and egg and blend
well. Add baking soda, salt and flour. Blend well. Add chips & nuts.
Fold in.
Drop by teaspoons on a cookie sheet, this dough, 2" apart on all
sides. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until golden. Remove & cool well before
handling.
Optional: 1/2 Crisco, 1/2 butter.
