Stinging and More Popularly COMMON Nettle

Los Angeles has lots of Armenians. Both ethnic and by nationality. Russian Armenians, Lebanese Armenians. They likes them their Armenian Cognac, (which I'm told is excellent, but have been unable to try it at a restaurant as of yet).

The largest Armenian market in Los Angeles has lots and lots of nice ethnic items. Today they had some bunches of Common Nettles. Also called Stinging Nettles. In honor of the Areminians putting this veggie into soup, here is the Armenian script: տարածված եղինջ
